Join us for Love that Lasts, an interactive and research-based 8-week workshop for couples inspired by Dr. John Gottman’s bestselling book, The Seven Principles for Making Marriage Work. Whether you’re dating, engaged, or married, this series offers a safe, supportive environment to deepen emotional connection, improve communication, and strengthen the foundation of your relationship.
While this workshop is led by a Licensed therapist, this is not group therapy—couples will work privately together during each session. No personal sharing with the group is required. Gottman Leader will be available to answer questions and provide 1-1 support.
What to Expect
Each session is 90 minutes and includes:
A brief, engaging lesson based on one of the Seven Principles
Real-life examples and research-based insights
Private couples exercises to practice communication and connection skills
Optional between-session activities to continue the growth at home
8-Week Workshop Schedule
Week 1: The Science of Love & Relationship Foundations
Learn what makes relationships succeed or fail, and how small changes can make a big impact. Begin building your emotional connection with the Love Map exercise.
Week 2: Deepening Love Maps
Explore your partner’s inner world—hopes, fears, stressors, and joys—to strengthen your emotional intimacy.
Week 3: Building Fondness & Admiration
Shift your focus toward what’s working in your relationship. Learn how to express appreciation and rediscover what you admire in each other.
Week 4: Turning Toward Instead of Away
Understand how everyday moments of connection strengthen your bond. Learn how to recognize and respond to bids for attention and affection.
Week 5: Managing Conflict with Gentle Start-Ups
Identify the difference between solvable and perpetual problems. Learn how to bring up difficult topics without defensiveness or blame.
Week 6: Conflict Mastery: Repair, Soothing & Compromise
Gain tools to de-escalate tension, make effective repair attempts, and find common ground through healthy compromise.
Week 7: Making Life Dreams Come True
Support each other’s personal dreams and long-term goals. Explore how to build a meaningful life together.
Week 8: Shared Meaning & Moving Forward
Wrap up the workshop with a shared vision for the future. Strengthen your rituals, values, and commitments to each other.

With years of experience guiding partners through communication challenges and attachment wounds, she brings warmth, insight, and practical tools to each session.
